Do download the *updated* driver set released Feb 2005 by Lexmark (print-drivers-linux-glibc2-x86.rpm.gz) from downloads.lexmark.com/en/us/index.html (this release covers many Lexmark printers).
(The Lexmark T420 was also sold by IBM as the Infoprint 1222; its the same printer.)
