This item functions perfectly as usbdrive with a vfat partion. However the device is formatted without partions.
So for example, one would have to mount /dev/sda not /dev/sda1.
I use Fedora Core 3 with KDE 3.3.1 and my Muvo is auto detected and added to fstab, all I need do is mount the drive to use it, and this can be done as a regular user.
