Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.29, 2.6.10
Distribution: Debian woody, Slackware 10.1

Kernel 2.4.29, option (USB-> support Kodak DC2xx is not disabled)
then use gphoto package. (www.gphoto.org)

It is recognized as DC280. No problem at all. With default setting, I need to set library path.

Also it works with 2.6.10 kernel.

USB connection is sometimes unstable.
