Description: Works like a charm both in 2.4 and 2.6 kernels. I've tested it on Slackware with CUPS Gimp-Print v4.2.7.

Install CUPS and start it, go to a web browser and go to http://localhost:631, and follow the instructions on adding a printer.

Using CUPS and the guetenprint (sp) drivers included with Mandriva.
Works perfectly.
ink command line utility gives inklevels and mtink work alright.

Shared over the network with my XP box just fine.

And beyond that can get the ink from online sources for great prices. I use either printpal or ldproducts.
