A very inexpensive combination digicam (1.3 megapixels) and webcam. There are several variations in the EyeQDuo line. Searching web for chipset for 1300 model produces mixed results. Mfr definitely will not provide any linux support. But, the camera is compatible when set to mass storage mode, it is picked up and can be mounted like any other USB mass storage device.
The webcam purportedly works with zr364xx module loaded. That driver compiled fine on my system but I have had no success with which could be due to my inexperience with xawtv.
Digicam works fine in mass storage mode as a typical USB mass storage device (vfat). Not recognized by gphoto2 or otherwise as a digicam.
Some reports googled up that the webcam will work with zr364xx module loaded. Although the driver compiled fine on my system and module was loaded, no webcam was recognized. This could be due to my inexperience with using xawtv with a webcam.
Summing up - the pictures can be taken off it when mounted as a USB storage device and the camera is set to mass storage mode. Otherwise, not terribly useful in linux. Webcam may be possible with zr364xx module for someone more experienced with setup of xawtv or similar in linux
