Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.11-6mdk-i686-up-4GB
Distribution: Mandriva 2005 LE

Installation was very very easy. Mandriva recognised the graphics card, sound card, network card etc, and used the full 1280x1024 resolution in KDE without needing any configuration. The only installation problems came with the wireless networking card - took a bit of fiddling with IPW to get it to work.

Post installation problems have been few and far between but a bit irritating. Mplayer and Xine seem to have problems with fullscreen display (which doesn't happen in other distro's I've tried). If you click on fullscreen you end up having to restart your PC as your screen just goes funny and doesn't come back. Occassionally the sound card doesn't initialise correctly on startup and I have to restart to get it to work again (although this is very occassional).

Other than that - an excellent distro for a very good laptop.
