This product works perfectly with the alsa usb module (modprobe snd-usb-audio). It could easily work as a stand alone sound card when systems lack a working card or the current one is not supported. I got mine for 10 dollars CDN. All games, sound players and apps that use alsa will work with this. The mic works perfectly too.
