Description:
|
This is a 56k 32-bit V.92 PCI LT WinModem that I have successfully used with Debian, SuSE, FreeBSD, Slackware, Mandrake, Helix, Fedora, RedHat, Gentoo and Yoper using pon/poff, wvdial and kppp.
It runs at around 10.1kbps max, which I got using Fedora Core 3.
The setting is not 115200, but 230400 because it's a V.92
The drivers can be gotten from here > http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/
* Note: FreeBSD 5.3 has the driver on the install CD #1.
Debian 3.1 (Sarge) kernel 2.4.27

Distribution:

ltmodem-kv_2.6.12-oci6.mdk-i586-up-1GB
As you can see I have upgraded the kernel since the initial installation and it is still working flawlessly with KPPP as the dialer
