Auto scanning KVM switch for controlling 2 computers with one monitor, keyboard and mouse. Hotkey (click scroll lock twice) to switch between computers. LED's show which computer is active. Complete with 2X 4' cables to monitor, keyboard, mouse and soundcard.
Tested and works perfectly with:
Slackware 10 (2.4.26), Gentoo (2004.2), Debian (3.0 'Woody' 2.4), Windows 98se, Windows 2000.
Video is perfect, as is keyboard and mouse function, though the cables for connecting from soundcards to speakers seemed to impede the sound markedly - I had to put the volume way up to compensate.
Alhough this is not officially a 'chainable' KVM as far as I know, I recently added a manual 2-port switch to the Aten so I can now switch between 3 computers, though this requires me to move the manual switch accordingly when booting the computers to ensure the keyboard and mouse is recognised by all 3.
Highly recommended with faultless operation, but use your own cables for connecting soundcards to speakers.
