Description: Dell All-In-One color printer, scanner, copier

I found a web page that describes how to get this printer to work. http://www.staerk.de/thorsten/module...article&sid=43

It is somewhat difficult to read, but it does work. Some of the stoppers I found were:

Make sure you try to install both rpm's.
After you create the CUPS password and try to log on to the cups server the username is cups.

I hope this helps.

Have a look at this site for some help as well especially if running a debian based system. I am running debian and I was able to get it to work using this site.

Also I would have given it a higher score if I could a) have scanner functionality and b) have photocopying functionality. All and I would not recommend it unless you just want a straight up printer with out any extra features.
