It's a cheap (about $40) printer. Ink prices aren't bad either. HP provides drivers online, but I've also successfully used the generic Deskjet driver. Connects by USB
Plug the usb in and go to the Printer configuration under Gnome and its detected already. I printer a text document, a spread-sheet and a colour photo. All fine. No spooling though.
Overall very nice for day-to-day printing. Considering the price.
Overall, works perfectly with Linux. Miss the ink level meter though.
