I loaded the nVidia Red Hat 9 drivers and found that the PC would lock up 1-2 times per day. I found a mailing list where there were lots of other people with the same problem. We all emailed nVidia and never got a reply.

I would not consider this card for Linux unless bug-free drivers are made available. nVidia support seems to be very poor.

I just had to install the drivers and update my XF86Config. Piece of cake. Enemy Territory works, Warcraft 3 works, UT2K(3/4) works. I'm happy. Very easy to install. Most people stand by the 4496 drivers, try these first. http://minion.de/ for 2.6.x patches and pre-patched drivers. I hear they work but I'm not using 2.6.x yet.

Video card works perfectly under Linux. The drivers from Nvidia are good and the documentation excellent. TV-out works perfectly as well, better than in Windows XP, where I could not get it to work. No problems with freezing or locking.

Installed Nvidia drivers from their site, edited XFree config as instructed in the documentation (just changed "nv" to "Nvidia"). Runs great, no problems for me so far. Running RTCW, Doom III, other games via Cedega. No problems graphics wise. Very happy with Nvidia.
