Description: PCI soundcard attached to a breakout box that can be rack mounted. 8 ins and outs on the box, plus midi in and out. No preamp, which is a good thing.

Seems to work well, although I think I have my own ALSA issues or something. Good sound. Mepis recognized it, loaded ICE712 module automatically.

I got this set-up recording with Ardour GTK , Jack Control , Rosegarden4 , all these programs recognise the M-Audio Delta 1010 soundard's in and outputs (S/PDIF , Midi , 8 I/O balanced jack-trs inputs switchable to +4 or -10 dB),
on a Dell Optiplex GX 110 , only 320 RAM and 866 Mhz PentiumIII CPU .

The configuring needed some devotion , especially for a newbie like me .
