sound lead from card plugs in to your sound card aux input, don't forget to turn up your line input volume control with aumix or alsa mixer. Using kmix was not sufficient.

Works fine yet everything seems to be black and white on 'Television' mode, 'S-Video' and 'Compositive' both have color.

TVTime works perfectly, and is my favourite viewing program, howerver all the channels seem to be in black and white, I've tried playing with the hue, saturation, color, etc. and still no avil (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?postid=1687323#post1687323).

MythTV and xawTV dont work for me (cant seem to get a picture) and I didn't bother trying...

modprobe cx8800
modprobe cx88xx

Thats all that was needed to get it to work, nice and simple...

Works well.

You need to make sure you set the right frequency table (in tvtime it's under the menu "Channel management" -> "Change frequency table" ) otherwise everything will look black and white or almost black and white.
