Description: E-IDE tri-format DVD-burner. Will do ,- and DVD-RAM (without the caddy). Will also do dual-layer burning in format.

Was recognised straight out of the box under Mandrake10.1, SuSE 9.1 and SuSE9.2. Plugged it into power and IDE ribbon, and it was up and running.
