Description: This is a maddog brand card based on the geforce4 mx 4000 chipset. It has 128 megs of memory and it is agp. My machine runs the Intel 815 AGP bridge.

After messing up EVERYTHING trying to get this card to work, I did a clean install of the OS, ran YOU (getting the newest kernel available from there), and then followed the directions for setting up the card. It worked fine in VESA mode the whole time btw (unless I really screwed up -> only twice). Of course the d/l from YOU doesn't work very well. You have to do the make cloneconfig and some other command to get the new drivers from nvidia (7167) to work.

But, now, linux in 3d is trippy. The people at nvnews.net are very nice.
