Description:	AMD 64-bit Processor, 512 MB RAM 100GB HD, DVD Burner / CD Burner, 3 USB, 1x Firewire, 17" widescreen, S-Video, SmartCard reader, harmon kardon speakers, NVidia GeForce Go 440 AGP Decent support with Ubuntu Hoary....Warty will not work...too new. Currently not able to run nvidia-glx (6629) drivers in full screen mode due to incompatibility with the newest drivers and xorg. Funny lil' hack to get the touchpad working. For some reason i had to add: modprobe -r psmouse; modprobe psmouse; to the gdm init.d script in order for my touchpad to get recognized, sound works, wireless will probably work with ndis wrapper and the 64-bit windows drivers (Broadcom 4306), USB storage devices are autodetected w/ ubuntu, I didn't look into getting the SmartDigital Card reader to work but I think it's possible....overall ubuntu rocks the house...can't wait til a couple months down the line when the hardware support gets better for my brand new beast :)

Most things work. followed guide at: http://web.purplefrog.com/~thoth/zv5000/

My zv5000 has different hardware then the one in the article, (My screen is 1280x800)

The xorg.conf he provides does the business when edited for my hardware.

The modem DOES (i repeat) DOES work when using the smartlink drivers and ALSA

Ndiswrapper also performs nicely.

BUT, i only run the 32bit version of the OS, mainly because some vital programs (flash player) hasn't been developed for 64bit yet, but once Micro$oft release Wimbloze Vista, I'm sure people will start developing 64bit software, and i will be able to have a second attempt :D
