I installed this RPM:
libifp-1.0.0.0-fc3.1

Then downloaded and extracted ifp_gui binary.. just extract and execute. Worked *beautifully* first time every time. Sometimes files with long names or bizarre characters can lock up the transfer.. just kill the ifp_gui program, unplug the iRiver... turn it off... plug it back in... turn it on... fire up ifp_gui again, and you're rockin'. Just be sure to delete the file you sent to the iRiver that crashed it -- it will list it on the iRiver but nothing is there. It will delete fine. The gui even lets you set the radio station presets!

TERRIFIC! I highly recommend it for anybody who wants to take their music on the go (256 MB is deceptively large... holds well over 45 high quality mp3s) but doesn't want to dish obscene amounts for a iPod or iRiver iHP-1xx product.

The accessories that came with it are also excellent. Doesn't have that "flimsy" feel to it.

As reviewer above but with 1GB version. Works great and the software, although simple, is more stable than the windows version - no surprise there.
