basic digital camera
4.1 mega-pix
memory stick pro
shoots m-peg with sound as well as still pix in a variety of modes. Includes 4x digital zoom but no optical zoom.
Usually Sony DSC are accessed as a regular removeable media via
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera
however, I have yet to successfully mount a memory-stick pro device this way. Sony web site says "third party drivers may not work with memory stick pro devices" and recommends windows.
HOWEVER - for US$10 I obtained a 7-in-one card reader. This reads the memory stick just fine. Hence the compatability rating is good-ish: the card is compatable but the camera is not.
