No problems whatsoever. With slackware sound and LAN worked right from the start with no required help from me.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.22-21mm.2mdk
Distribution: Mandrake

The motherboards works fine.
But, you must pout apic=off and acpi=ht on linux boot
parameters on lilo/grup. instead you will get troubles
with network.
This worksarouds will disapear in the next kernel,
and may be in the last 2.4 series, whem apic will work.
But, you can't use HighPoint-IDE-ATA without Raid on kernel 2.6 yet.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4

acpi still not supported as of yet...downloading the Mandrake 10 Community right now, will report (edit probably) as i find out!

The built in C-Media skips on occasion with flash running and xmms at the same time...even with a high buffer using the ARTS wrapper in KDE.

Install was easy - (SuSE 9.1) - however I get the following during boot and once all is up and running.

May 18 12:29:23 frankie kernel: Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason 3d on CPU 0.
May 18 12:29:23 frankie kernel: Dazed and confused, but trying to continue
May 18 12:29:23 frankie kernel: Do you have a strange power saving mode enabled?
May 18 12:29:23 frankie kernel: Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason 2d on CPU 0.
May 18 12:29:23 frankie kernel: Dazed and confused, but trying to continue
May 18 12:29:23 frankie kernel: Do you have a strange power saving mode enabled?

Also, I have noticed that the system will perform a shutdown after playing UT2004 for 30 to 40 minutes. Still needs some tweaking I think.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.27
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 (Sarge)

Major headaches trying to get this distro to install correctly. I turned off apic in BIOS and used the apic=off command, but still got hangs with the network setup. It will eventually work, as long as you have some time and patience.
