Fine printer, originally made in the first half of the 90's.
Only thing for linux you should know is you should use the DocuPrint 4508 ppd file (I use the one provided by foomaticdb), and after that it works using CUPS.
To print pdf's at 600 dpi, I think you need extra DIMM-ram.
