Note: this motherboard is socket 939, not 754 as mentioned in the description.
Fedora core 3 installed without difficulty. Network card recognized and worked right away. Sound card not recognized. I didn't spend a lot of time messing with it, so it may be possible to get it to work (I don't play sound on this box so didn't put any effort into it).
I've been using this motherboard for 3 weeks -- no problems or regrets. Great price; at only $100US, it boasts considerable savings over the other offerings on the market (which start at $150US; with the exception of the $70 Chaintech which I bought and returned because I could not get any linux distro to work on it; see my other post in that forum).

I own this MOBO and is a Socket 754, maybe there are 2 kinds of this one...

I had problems with FC3_x86 64 bits, I get dead freezes and I don't know the reason, although FC3 i386 is working great... SATA, Network, USB, Sound... everything seems fine at the moment
I think I will try re-installing x86 64 in another HD

Hi I have had this MB (socket 754 version) with an AMD 64 2800 for about a month now and can say I'm very happy with it. I have the AMD 64 bit version of Gentoo installed and I have also tried it with the Ubunto Amd 64 live CD. Sound, Network, Cool and Quiet plus icsensors are all working great. The system also seems rock solid with no crashes!

I tryed Ubuntu and got the same freezing problem, so I got to read.... and read... and read... until I got to a problem related with APIC and Local APIC, so I disabled both with noapic nolapic options on the kernel and Ubuntu got stable :D, so I tryed FC3-64 with the same kernel options and Nvidia drivers and it's seems very stable for a long long time
