Description: External harddrive with a massive 1Tb capacity. It has 3 interfaces: USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and FireWire 800.
I haven't tried the FireWire interfaces, but it works flawlessly when connected through USB (as a mass-storage device). No further configuration was required, except an appropriate fstab entry.
It comes pre-formatted in Apple's HFS, so you might have to reformat in Reiser, Ext3 or whichever you prefer.

Tested on Slackware 10.0 with a vanilla 2.6.7 kernel.
Keywords: usb firewire external harddisk
Connection Type: USB 2.0 / FireWire 400 / FireWire 800
