Description: IDE RAID controller chip often ships on gigabit motherboards. ATA/ATAPI-6 specification and supports two IDE channels with four drives. Supports RAID 0/1/0+1 function. Supports ANSI ATA proposal PIO modes 1 to 4 & flow control DMA modes 0 to 6. This chip requires drivers to run. So far drivers are availble for Linux 2.4.1 kernels only.
