Gamepad does not work with my Mandrake Linux. When I plug it into my USB port, it stalls during boot up. I tried plugging in the game pad when Mandrake is booted up but it is not detected. Also shutting down my computer while the gamepad is still connected will stall the shutdown. Overall, this gamepad is not compatible, at least for me. I did not modify anything but rather made the assumption that it would be "plug-n-play".

This gamepad works out of the box on many of the up-to-date distros I've tried, including Ubuntu 7.04, Xubuntu 6.06, Fedora 7, Mandriva 2007.1 One edition, and Ubuntu 6.06.1. So far, it has worked with any program that supports joysticks, or at least, the programs I have to test. This gamepad is very similar in design to the PlayStation 2 controller. The only real feature it lacks is rumble, which can be found in the "Logitech Rumblepad 2 gamepad" for $25.
