This model is some 3 years old - and now discontinued.
It has one WAN port, RJ11; and one ethernet port, RJ45.
Does NAT, and possibly DHCP, but no Firewalling.
Configuration is easiest thro' the built in Web interface, tho' there is a serial port for the Die-Hards ;-)
Various parameters can be set for use on differing telecom systems;
As I use British Telecom 512kbps ADSL, my settings to use as an RFC2364, PPPoA Router are:-
VCI=38
VPI=0
Mode=g.dmt
Authentication=CHAP
Idle time=0 (Always on)
I have NAT enabled.
Though this is an old unit, any problems that have arrisen with my ADSL connection have proved to be downstream of the modem - it has effectively been 'on' for the last 3 years.
