The Blitzz BWI605 NetWave PCI 802.11b WiFi card is the cheap card that you can pick up at just about any Wal-Mart or Sams Club. It uses an ADMtek chipset called ADM8211.
The official driver from the Blitzz website(www.iblitzz.com) is worthless unless you run Red Had 7 or 8
An open-source driver for all ADM8211 cards is being developed at http://aluminum.sourmilk.net/adm8211
As of the 11-10-04 build the driver is fully compatible with this card. The driver installation is simply a matter of running 'make install' in the source directory and then loading the 'adm8211' module via modprobe. Please note that builds of this driver pre 11-10-04 can(and probably will) cause your system to lock up when bringing the device up.
