Description: green in colour, up to one gig sd card accepted (possibly higher depending on firmware upgrades later),
Exp. based on Mandrake 10.1 OE
plug it in and two icons pop up on desktop, I use Krusader file manager to drag and drop mp3's from hard drive to internal and secure removable memory. Mounted as mass storage. They sound good, survived drop on concrete, bottom of dog's water dish twice now (pulled battery and sd card out & left battery cover off for 24 hours and works perfect). Small, lightweight, and best of all replaceable AAA battery. I like it.

I have since learned there are three models of the Rio Cali. They are visibly identifiable by the function joystick. There is a black, red and silver one (joystick) apparently. I have the black one. From what I have read only the black one is a mass storage device.

Also, I will mention now that I have lots of use out of it, I get about 12 or 13 hours out of a single AAA rechargable nimh battery. Probably capable of more if I turned off the backlight.

Edit: Only three months warranty on these. Seven months and it died. Will not buy this particular model again.
