Description:	To use it with your linux system you must treat it as a usb mass storage device. You may need to compile your kernel to support usb mass storage and SCSI emulation. Create a directory in which to mount your device, such as /mnt/camera. Connect the camera and turn it on. You can mount it with: mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera Also, you could add an entry to your /etc/fstab file like so: /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera vfat defaults,user,noauto 0 0 this will allow non-root users to mount the device via "mount /mnt/camera"

Is totally compatible as far as still images goes. It uses the usb mass storage module and worked straight from a standard install.

I have not tried to get the pc camera working though hence the 7 rating for compatibility.
