Description: This laptop has good battery life and is fairly inexpensive. Using Mepis Linux and a 2.6-based kernel, I've verified everything works except for the modem.

Until Intel released a wireless driver, I used Linuxant's. The Intel driver works fine. ACPI also works well with the later kernels (I run 2.6.9).

I've had trouble getting the modem to work. The drivers that might work with my hardware didn't seem to work with a 2.6 kernel. If anyone gets this to work, I'd appreciate a msg of how.
