Used the acx100.sourceforge.net drivers as prescribed at http://www.houseofcraig.net/acx100_howto.php. The install went almost perfectly using the generic instructions, but his section on Fedora Core (FC2, actually) didn't work for me. Just use the generic instructions and you should be fine.
acx111-based products (such as this one) do not have WEP support in the acx100 driver, yet. Considering my semi-rural location, I am safe with no encryption and MAC filtering to prevent accidental intrusion by someone driving by, but this would not be good enough in a city. Those users may want to consider trying ndiswrapper or driverloader to see if WEP can be enabled -- I haven't tested this.
Overall, a good card with my setup. I will be very happy to see WEP support added to the acx100 drivers, though.

Hard to Figure out that It's possible to get the card working unless your used to looking for Drivers. Best to ask a friend to install it for you, and to help you use the start, stop scripts if your new to linux. Other than that it seems to be working grand, unless your worried about security, but perhaps sometime soon, wep wap will be enabled

USR5410 makes LH palm rest a bit warm, but OK. Picks up router signals much faster than Intel 2915 or AR5006XS!
Works great in xp PRO & Vista ULTIMATE b2 (5384), but not sure how to get it working in LINUX.
I need to learn how to set up security properly on this, WiFi access @ local public library. OPtions are;
WEP Open, WEP Shared, WPA, WPA-PSK.
