Works with APCI disabled, with most dist. Driver: works with both tg3 and bcm5700. Tried with Fedora Core 2 and Mepis.
Hint:
If you have trouble starting up LAN in Mepis 2.6.7+, use following parameters: pci=noacpi noapic acpi=off
In Fedora Core 2 2.6.7+ use the following: apci=off noapic
I couldn't get the card to work at first - then I found this site. The description above about needing to disable APCI should read APIC, but it did the trick.
The card is slow to acquire an address using DHCP but is stable and fast.
