I bought this motherboard as an in-expensive (< $300) way to learn Linux. I've successfully gotten Red Hat 9 to install and run but have to use the Generic VESA video support as the onboard SiS video is not directly supported. This makes for MUCH slower video (Tux Racer is not playable!)
The good news is that the rest of the hardware was detected and runs pretty well. Just wish SiS would get with it and give up the info on their video chips!
If anyone can make the video faster, please let me know!
