Mine is a pretty nice 1Ghz Pent. 4 processor with 512 megs of mem. 17in display. cd/rw/dvd combo drive. the quickbuttons under the monitor and below the mouse do not work with linux, but i would not use them anyway. i've had trouble getting the sound driver to work - even though it is supported by alsa, it didn't want to work under redhat. suse got the sound working automatically. my onboard network card died and i didn't want to replace the motherboard, so i got a pcmcia card. it is kind of tricky to get it to work right. you have to have the onboard nic set as dhcp as well as activate the pcmcia card. i also set up a netgear ma111 usb wireless on this. works fine - actually it is a bit easier to convince to work than the pcmcia card was. even though the video card is supposed to support 3d, i've never actually gotten it to work.

Would you recommend the product? yes | Price you paid? (in USD): $1,500.00 | Rating: 9
Kernel (uname -r):
2.4.20
Distribution:
suse 9.1
see comments above in description. also, the $1,500 was about 2.5 years ago. i'm sure the price has dropped considerably if they still manufacture it. but, if you have one sitting around, it makes a great linux box.
