I recently purchased this card after the trouble I had with the ATI AIW 9800 Pro. Installation was easy, and the most important part...driver setup...was a breeze. Linux support is excellent. The driver was easy to install, and documentation was more than adequate. I have had zero problems with this card and the performance is excellent. I would recommand this card to any Linux user with the cash and a desire for a high end video card.

If you can't afford the Geforce 6800 Ultra GET THIS CARD...It'll give you AMAZING performance increases all over the board! Sometimes you can get them on Ebay for about $350-$400.

Counter-Strike 1.6 - over 175fps
CS: Source - stable 60fps upto 185fps (varies from map to map)

Be sure you patch your 6629 drivers so you can take advantage of the 256megs of video RAM! I believe the default 6629 driver only supports 42megs for video.
