Slackware 10 installed worked perfectly, upgraded to Slack-Current still no problems, works flawlessly

Slackware installed perfectly. Some graphics driver / wireless problems with later kernels though, that's why i stick with 2.6.8.1.
I obtained the wireless driver (Intel PRO/Wireless 2100) from
http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net
and the graphics driver (ATI Radeon Mobility 9600) from
http://www.ati.com

I can't get the memory card reader to work though...
The video card works but I have some difficulties to get 3d to work fine. xgl doesn't work...
