The officially supported (or shall I say certified?) OS is
Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

I first tried Red Hat Linux 9.0, but that didn't work at all.

Second try was with Fedora Core 2. Installation went
smooth, did not have to retrieve 3rd party drivers.
Ethernet and SATA are recognized during the installation
process and work. I am not productive yet, will take
some time to find out how stable the system will be.

Had some problems with the mouse (mount-pointer
flying through the screen, had to reboot the server).
That's wy I give it a 9 instead of 10.
