After a bit of work, I have the thing running well. PS/2, USB, Fan control (http://www.buzzard.org.uk/toshiba/), temperature reading/battery status with ACPI, Floppy, PCMCIA slots all good. Mouse pointer and buttons are fine straight out of the box (Slackware-current 2.4.27) with xorg and "vesa" driver is fine at 1024x768.
