The printer was recognized at installation and works fine out of the box. I'm using the recommended hpijs driver.

It worket out of the box no problems.

On mandrake menus there are lot's of icons for "printer managers", but they don't seam to show what is on the line to be printed, so I created a desktop icon with the command "kcmshell printmgr". This gives a goo gui that shows the printer current works, all printers installed, changes the current printer and installs/configures printers. All in one good gui.

This may only work on kde, I'm not sure.
