Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.12
Distribution: Fedora Core 4.1

The Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10,000 rpm hard drive is the best hard drive I have ever had. It performs wonderfully fast. One hopes that other SATA 10,000 rpm drives are in development by at least Western Digital. Perform, Performs under LINUX as well as Windows XP. ---- I have plans of running a dual boot operating system off a RAID3--syncRAID--card from Netcell using the 74GB Raptor Drive. The speed will be amazing according to Netcell. Also The configuration of three Raptor drives, a syncRAID card, and LINUX is fully supported.
