S3 ProSavage (aka Twister) graphics engines come as onboard graphics with VIA chipsets VT8603 (PN133), VT8606 (PN133T) and VT8362 (KN133).
2D graphics is SVGA compatible and should work with any Linux distribution.
To get 3D hardware acceleration, you need to have an appropriate DRI driver (kernel module) and XFree86 4.x.x plus driver module.
VIA has a proprietary driver available here (XFree module + utility to switch output between LCD,CRT,TV); for further information see the excellent howto by /bin/bash.
