Mandrake 10

For monitor in Mandrake 10 use "Generic LCD" "1024x768" and "Nvidia GEOForce" (defaults). When asked about if you want to test the screen settings answer NO (It freezes the installation). Other standard devices detected at installation. Pointer device and sound flawlessly configurated. US Robotics wireless card driver needed from Linuxant (http://www.linuxant.com). For modem use Intel's driver for linux, chipset 537 (http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/filter_results.asp?strOSs=39&strTypes=DRV&ProductID=1230&OSFullName=Linux*&submit=Go%21)
_______
NOTE: USB Mouse freezes randomly. No X11Config change has been successful in resolving this. Since the laptop only has two USB ports for input, either use the touchpad, or use two usb mice simultaneously (when one freezes, the other one works, and just moving it ' unfreezes' the one that was not working)
