Description: Board works fine with Slackware 9.1 and Slackware 10. I have a Radeon 9000 Pro and a 3.2ghz HT. Asus provides linux drivers for the intel gigabit adapter which replaces the 3com in the other boards hence the deluxe. They also provide audio drivers but the Alsa versions included with Slack 9.1 and 10 work fine with the audio chipset
Keywords: Asus, P4C800-E
Chipset: i875P
Connection Type: ATA/SATA Support

Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.7
Distribution: Slackware-current

its a good moterboard but the sata controller is made by promise which has apparently not released any info for devs to make a driver for linux they also have not released any of their own drivers for linux making for lousy sata support (i still can't get it to boot with the bootloader on the sata drive)

other then that, i haven't had too many other problems and everything else works fine with linux

This motherboard works perfectly. I have my graphics card, a sound card (PCI), two sata drives, two ide drives, one dvd+-rw/cd-rw, and several usb devices are connected, detected, and working properly. I've had no problems with this motherboard.
