Description: I thought it would be better to mention this card, even if it doesn't work the way you want it to. I don't know any other wireless card using the TI-chipset connecting via USB.
With the driver from acx100.sourceforge.net you can force it to work ad-hoc. But that's all until now. I suppose they're working on it...
However, all I can say to you is: DON'T BUY THIS CARD!

I can make this card work only for few minutes, with drivers from acx100.sf.net (version 0.2.0pre8_plus_fixes_6, newer don't work). After few minutes the connection dies, and I have to reboot. DON'T BUY THIS CARD!

DO NOT BUY THIS. Slack 10 just called the card an Unknown device and it refused to load the drivers.
