Description: Wired ethernet card for use with 16bit pcmcia interface.

This is version 3 of the NP100, and uses the AXNET_CS module. Note that the entries in slackware's /etc/pcmcia/config file will lead you wrong. There are conflicting entries in there that will load the wrong module. I just erased all but one.

card "LinkSys Network Everywhere NP100"
version "Network Everywhere", "Fast Ethernet 10/100 PC Card"
#manfid: 0x0149, 0xc1ab
bind "pcnet_cs"

and change (bind "pcnet_cs") to (bind "axnet_cs")
Keywords: NP100 v3
/sbin/lspci output: no can do
Chipset: Asix AX88190
Connection Type: 16bit pcmcia

Card works great but the pcmcia config files lists the wrong module.

pcmcia says "bind pcnet_cs"
should say "bind axnet_cs"

simple edit fixes problem
