kt400 series- ga-7vaxp form factor-30.5cm x24.3cm atx size, 4 layers pcb. socket 462(A) 200/266/333 mhz fsb and ddr bus speeds. bus master (ultra dma 33/ata66/ata100/ata133) memory 3 184-pin ddr sockets. chipset - via vt8235. supports up to 3.0gb ddr ram.
I also used fedora core 2,3. lineox enterprise linux 4.0, lba linux on this system. linspire 5.0 is the most stable of the linux distro's, 2nd place goes to fedora core 3. this system is running a 1.4 ghz thunderbird cpu, and 768 meg of pc2100 ddr ram. lineox and lba linux main problem was cd - rom music don't play , and can't go on line after one month of use.
The system is about 1 and half years old with no problems.
I also used suse 9.2, kbuntu 5.04, ubuntu 5.04. suse 9.2 can't play cd's or mp-3 files-I didn't find the drivers needed.
