The digital camera is capable of resolutions up to 1600 by 1200 and 2.1 megapixels, with a 3 x optical zoom and smooth 2.5 x digital zoom. It is compact but includes a 1.5" LCD screen for taking and viewing photographs. Automatic and manual camera modes exist, and there are also functional facilities available for taking panoramic photographs, with the panoramic mode.
The camera has been used successfully on Mandrake Linux 9.1 using gtkam. Mandrake should automatically provide a link to gtkam on the desktop as soon as you plug the camera in.
