Been using this for over 4 years, until now on Win XP but since Dec 2010 on linux.
I had no trouble setting this up, I just plugged it in and it was good to go. I use it for documents, and also for smaller photos, 8X10 and smaller. Ink is very expensive for it unless you can find someone who sells refilled cartridges. I used someone for several years but she went out of business and now have to find someone new. :-( I recommend this printer and, in fact any HP printer as being a very dependable printer.
