Distribution: slackware10

Please note as a correction to the above listing
Video Processor: Chips and Technology 65545
Battery Voltage: 8.4V at 3600 millamp hours

8bpp display using XFree86 3.3.3.1b

Section "Monitor"

HorizSync 27.06
VertRefresh 55.68
Modeline "640x480" 21.0 640 688 704 776 480 480 481 486

I was unable to achieve anything greater than 4bpp color until I found this modeline information. Untested with current releases of XFree86 or X.org

I enter 'XF86_SVGA' at the command line to start X, not startx
