Description: The 802.11b wireless usb adapter from the SpeedStream series. These have a Prism chipset which is supported nicely by the linux wlan-ng project. http://www.linux-wlan.org
I have had sucess with this card on the later 2.4.x kernels (14 and up) However there is a bug in the firmware implementation that will prevent it from working on 2.6.x kernels. The card indentifies it's first interface as number 1 while the kernel follows the USB specification which dictates the first interface should be 0. A kernel patch is available for some kernels. Try searching for "kernel patch interface number 1" (no quotes)
